Congrats, sixth graders!!! You are now really, totally, officially middle school students. Nothing to be afraid of now, right?!? Yes, I am talking to you. Don't try to tell me that you were never scared or worried. I saw it in your faces, heard it in your voice. You didn't want to be a NERD!!!!!!! What you did not know last week is that WE ARE ALL NERDS here, especially your teacher!
On a serious note... keep in mind that the thing that we do the VERY BEST here is caring for our Chrysalis Family. That means each and every one of us. You don't have to like the kid that sits next to you in Science, but you do have to treat them with the same respect you want for yourself!
