Kudos to you, Sixth Graders!

I have said it a million times in class over the last few days, but I want to put it in writing, in a public forum, where your parents can see it. I am absolutely blown away by and insanely proud of your summer reading projects. The posters and artwork are beautiful and creative, but it is the writing that is so over the top. Most of you put so very much work, heart, and soul in your writing. I read some really strong arguments, deep thoughts, funny side notes, and in-depth comments. As I told you, we have a little work to do with grammar and form, but that is the easy part. With this kind of practice and skill, the sky truly is the limit.

Mr. Little is going to LOVE you folks next year!!!! I'm glad that I get you for a while first.
